was founded by Lyndon Laney in 1967 in Birmingham, U.K. and over 55 years later, it is still a family business, now headed by Lyndon's son, James Laney.

Laney designs and engineers all its products in The Black Country, just outside Birmingham - This is the area of England where the industrial revolution took hold.

Laney is unique in British amplifier manufacturers in that the product line-up includes not just Guitar amplifiers and Effects Pedals but amplifiers for Bass, Acoustic, Keyboards, Electronic Drums and PA.
